I grew up watching TNG, mostly because my dad watched it all the time! I haven't watched any of this in years, but this brought back some good memories. And that speech from Jean-Luc Picard is awesome.
Love this! I've never been to a con, but I'm a big Star Trek fan. I was actually reading something the other day about how Odo on DS9 basically gets be a full-time detective, largely because the show *isn't* on a ship. I'll see if I can track it down. Great post, as always!
